Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally when she was a teenager in Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first production as a professional included The Snow Queen. Then she was nominated as an Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. In 2002, she played the same role as Into the Woods in Broadway at the age of 15, and earned the Drama League Award nomination. Molly has also been seen on Broadway in the stage revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Molly attended Princeton University as a Triangle Club member and graduated with a B.A. She then attended Princeton University, where she was part of the Triangle Club and earned a Bachelor's degree in the year 2008. While she was in college, she began her acting career in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly worked in TV, such as Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in a variety of regional plays, among them The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee performed by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank in 2010.
